What is a trusted adult for students:​

  • Someone who is respectful and shows that through their words and actions

  • They hold you to a high standard and do not make you feel inferior

  • They make an effort to listen and understand you even with personal differences

  • someone who is respectful of your boundaries

What is an ally?

Merriam-Webster defines “ally” as “one that is associated with another as a helper; a person or group that provides assistance and support in an ongoing effort, activity or struggle.” In recent years, the term has been adopted specifically to a person supporting a marginalized group.
